Changing your plan in Katalyst is straightforward and takes effect immediately. Navigate to the Billing page from the sidebar to see your current plan and the available alternatives.
When you upgrade, you gain instant access to the new plan’s features. Katalyst prorates the cost, so you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your current billing cycle. For example, if you upgrade from Starter to Pro halfway through the month, you will be charged half the difference immediately, and the full Pro price starting on your next billing date.
Downgrading works similarly, but in reverse. When you switch to a lower tier, you retain access to the higher tier’s features until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, the lower tier’s limits take effect. If you have more trades than the lower tier allows, your existing data is preserved — you just cannot add new trades until you are within the limit.
If you are on an annual plan and want to switch tiers, the proration is calculated based on the remaining months. Annual plans offer a significant discount compared to monthly billing, so consider this when choosing your billing frequency.
