Managing Payment Methods

Katalyst uses Stripe for secure payment processing. Your credit card details are never stored on Katalyst’s servers — they are handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest level of payment security certification.

To add or update a payment method, go to the Billing page and click “Manage Payment Methods.” You can add a new credit or debit card by entering the card number, expiration date, and CVC. Katalyst accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

If you have multiple payment methods on file, you can set a default card that will be used for future charges. To change the default, click the three-dot menu next to the card and select “Set as Default.” You can also remove cards you no longer use.

When a payment fails — for example, due to an expired card — Katalyst will send you an email notification and retry the charge after a few days. If the payment continues to fail, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier after a grace period. You can resolve this at any time by updating your payment method on the Billing page.

For team or enterprise accounts, contact our support team to set up invoicing if you prefer to pay via bank transfer or purchase order rather than credit card. We offer flexible billing arrangements for organizations with multiple seats.
