The fastest way to see Katalyst in action is to import your existing trade history. Navigate to the Import page from the sidebar, select the trading account you want to import into, and upload your broker’s CSV file. Katalyst supports 11 brokers — Rithmic, Interactive Brokers, Tastytrade, ThinkOrSwim, Schwab, Webull, Robinhood, TradingView, Sierra Chart, AMP Futures, and Optimus Futures — and automatically detects the broker format from your file.
After uploading, Katalyst parses the data and shows you a preview of the first 50 trades it found. Review the preview to make sure dates, instruments, and P&L values look correct. If something seems off, check that you exported the right report from your broker.
When you commit the import, you will choose how to handle duplicates: Skip (ignore existing executions), Overwrite (replace them), or Keep Both (import everything). Skip is the safest default for most situations. Katalyst groups individual executions into logical trades, calculates your net P&L per trade, and tags each trade with the instrument and session.
Every import is saved to your Import History so you can track what you have brought in. The history shows the broker, trade count, status, and timestamp for each import. Large imports with thousands of trades may take a few seconds — you will see a summary once the import completes.
After importing, head to the Dashboard to see your equity curve, win rate, and other key metrics populate instantly. You can always import more trades later from the Import page.
