Katalyst can automatically sync your connected broker accounts on a configurable schedule so you never have to manually refresh your data. You can set each connection to sync on a daily or weekly basis at a specific time and timezone that works for your trading schedule.
To configure a sync schedule, go to the Connections page and click the settings icon on your connection. Choose your preferred frequency — None, Daily, or Weekly — along with the time of day and timezone. For example, you might set a daily sync at 5:00 PM Eastern to capture all trades after the market close.
Katalyst includes a smart pause feature to conserve resources. If three consecutive scheduled syncs return no new trades, the schedule is automatically paused and you receive a notification letting you know. This prevents unnecessary API calls when you are not actively trading. You can resume the schedule at any time from the Connections page.
You can also trigger a manual sync at any time for any date range. This is useful when you want to pull in trades from a specific historical period or verify that no trades were missed. Manual syncs run immediately and do not affect your scheduled sync timing.
The Connections page shows the last sync time, next scheduled sync, and any errors for each connection. Each sync is recorded in your Sync History, which you can view by clicking “Sync History” on the connection. The history shows the status of each sync (completed, failed, or paused), how many new trades were imported, and any error details. You will also receive in-app notifications when a sync completes, fails, or is paused.
