Katalyst offers a direct connection to Rithmic, allowing your trades to sync automatically without manual CSV imports. This is the recommended setup for futures traders who use Rithmic-powered brokers such as Apex, Topstep, or any other Rithmic-connected firm.
To set up the connection, navigate to the Connections page from the sidebar. Click “Add Connection” and select Rithmic as the provider. You will need to enter your Rithmic credentials — specifically your username, password, and the gateway (system name) provided by your broker. Katalyst connects using Rithmic’s official API and never stores your password on its servers; instead, it uses a secure token exchange.
After entering your credentials, click “Test Connection” to verify that Katalyst can reach your Rithmic account. If the test succeeds, click “Save” to finalize the connection. Katalyst will begin syncing your trades in the background, starting with today’s data and working backward if historical sync is enabled.
It is important to note that some Rithmic-powered brokers require you to enable API access in your broker portal before Katalyst can connect. If the test fails, check with your broker to confirm API access is turned on for your account.
Once connected, new trades will appear in Katalyst within minutes of being executed. You can monitor the sync status on the Connections page, where you will see the last sync time and any errors. If a sync fails due to a temporary network issue, Katalyst retries automatically.
