Katalyst sends notifications for a wide range of events so you never miss important activity. Here is what triggers a notification:
Trading Group Activity: You receive notifications when a new post is created in one of your groups, when someone comments on a post, when a new member joins, when a trade is shared to the group feed, when a new event is scheduled, when a new file is uploaded, when a new guide is published, when a new offer goes live, and when a sub-group is created. Role changes — such as being promoted to manager — also trigger a notification.
Broker Connection Updates: When a scheduled or manual sync completes successfully, you receive a notification confirming how many new trades were imported. If a sync fails due to a connection error, you are notified with the error details so you can take action. If your sync schedule is automatically paused after three consecutive empty syncs (no new trades detected), you receive a pause notification explaining why and how to resume.
All notifications appear in the bell icon panel in the top navigation bar and on the dedicated Notifications page. Notifications are delivered in real time — there is no delay between the event occurring and the notification appearing.
