Katalyst posts your trading group’s activity to Slack using Slack’s Incoming Webhooks. There is no “Connect Slack” OAuth step and no Settings → Integrations tab — Slack notifications are configured per group, by the group’s owner or a manager.
First, create an Incoming Webhook in Slack: go to https://api.slack.com/messaging/webhooks, click “Create your Slack app,” choose the workspace and channel, enable Incoming Webhooks, and copy the generated Webhook URL (it starts with https://hooks.slack.com/).
In Katalyst, open your group’s Webhooks page, click “New Webhook,” paste the Slack URL, and choose the events to forward — for example Trade Shared and Post Created. No secret is required: Katalyst recognizes the Slack URL and posts a formatted message to your channel automatically.
From then on, the events you selected appear in that Slack channel in real time — a shared trade, a new post, a scheduled event, or a member joining. Create multiple webhooks to route different events to different channels.
